INDIA - the world's largest democracy.
Election time - a pathetic attempt by political parties and politicians to fool public and buy votes.
Using religion and communalism to create a rift when they themselves do not know the true meaning of religion. The sad condition of the great Indian democracy.
Even sadder is the agenda & the campaigning. In times where we need to discuss economy and development, we are still getting promises of bijli, sadak, pani. Instead of building schools & public amenities, there are talks of mandirs and setus. Instead of protecting women, "brothers" are dragging their so called sisters out of pubs beating them mercilessly.
Do we not need to be aware of real issues, keep up with times and recognise global warming as an important issue? Instead our politicians waste valuable fuel with motorcycle rallies. Play loud music, burst loud and smoky firecrackers. Why can we not be more responsible and put an end to this? Why?
Why can't we too have a two party system? Stop mudslinging, shoe tossing and get productive. Why can't "netas" think more about us and less about themselves?
Why? Why? Why?
There are many more 'whys' and 'till whens'. But can we not do anything about it?
Yes we can. Lets vote. Every vote counts. Truly JAAGO RE!
